This year’s conference will be led by three powerful voices committed to calling men higher:
Dr. William R. Glaze
Dr. William R. Glaze has faithfully served as Pastor of Bethany Baptist Church in Pittsburgh since 1990 and is the Founder and Dean of the Pittsburgh Laymen’s Bible Institute. A seasoned shepherd and teacher of the Word, he also hosts the daily radio broadcast Anchored in Jesus and has partnered with Shepherding the Next Generation since 2013 to strengthen families and equip future leaders. With a deep commitment to outreach, Dr. Glaze has led impactful ministries serving children and communities, including Young Christian Conquerors and various mission efforts. He earned his undergraduate degree from Fort Lewis College, completed graduate studies at Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary, and received a Doctor of Sacred Theology from Bethany Theological Seminary. Recognized as an Urban Hero in 2010, he continues to preach, teach, and minister with lasting impact across the nation and abroad.
Pastor William Baker IV
Rev. William A. Baker IV is a pastor, educator, and civic leader dedicated to cultivating faithful leaders and strengthening communities. He serves as Vice President for Strategic Initiatives and Continuing Education at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, where he leads efforts connecting theological education with church life and neighborhood impact, while also serving as Next Generation Pastor at Bethany Baptist Church and preparing to become Senior Pastor in 2028. With over a decade of pastoral leadership, including serving as Senior Pastor of Mount Olive Baptist Church, his work bridges ministry, education, and community engagement. Rev. Baker also contributes to civic advancement through board service and policy work, holds degrees in New Testament Theology and Divinity, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in communication and rhetoric. He is grateful to serve alongside his wife, Denise, and their four sons.
Dr. Victor-Lamonte Lane
Dr. Victor-LaMonte Lane serves as Teaching Pastor and Head of Operations at Macedonia Church of Pittsburgh, where he combines theological depth with strategic leadership to strengthen both ministry and organizational impact. Prior to MCOP, he faithfully served as Senior Pastor of Macedonia Baptist Church in Denver, Colorado, and Miles Chapel Baptist Church in Mebane, North Carolina. Dr. Lane completed his doctoral studies at Duke University, where his research focused on the canonical portrayal of the contest between Mosaic and Pharaonic leadership. A gifted teacher and communicator, his ministry is marked by a commitment to sound doctrine, leadership development, and kingdom advancement. His life stands as a testimony to the transformative power and grace of God at work in every believer through Christ Jesus.
